[Sveta's pretty much physically unaltered. If we're going for a specific show, then she's just a person in Sesame street or a show like Baby Einstein. But imagine the happiest, perkiest preschool teacher you've ever met. Now imagine them with a television show. That would be Sveta. She claps her hands together once and addresses the Barge with a grin on her face.]

Alright, friends! Gather round! Since it seems like we're almost ready to eat our dinner, let's make sure that we are patient! We're going to sing a little song to get us through until it's ready.

[She holds up her palms together like a fish and starts to sing this song, doing appropriate hand gestures for each animal. Enjoy, Barge.]

That poor slippery fish, right friends? Now tell me...why did the whale get to be the last one? Do you think anything could swallow a whole whale?

Well, dear, if she can swallow a whale, then I'd like to meet her!

[Starts off defiant, ends up depressed.] She's! Not here.

Actually, whales don't eat sharks! Most species of whale eat tiny shrimp-like marine crustaceans called krill.

You're so right! I like the way you answered that!

Believe it or not, the most common shark killer is man.

John and I have put out whole CDs of nothing but facts.

[Oh man he hasn't had a big person actually understand him, so you just get the silent answer of holding up his Reptar toy (http://images.ebaumsworld.com/thumbs/avatars/reptar/reptar-1224224829.gif).]

[The only thing Sveta got out of that was Reptar...but that's about it. So she just stares at the toy.]

So cute.

Dinosaur? That starts with the letter...D!

And he's green. That's...um...[She searches in her room and finds a handy green shirt! Improvise!] See. This is green!

[Reptar. There's that word again. Okay...new plan!]

Is the dinosaur named Reptar?

Usually the blue barracudas are a tough team.

Oh! I know a song for that.

B-L-U-E spells blue
B-L-U-E spells blue
Hi Ho did you know
B-L-U-E spells blue
The big sky is blue
The ocean is, too
Hi Ho did you know
B-L-U-E spells blue

There aren't any barracudas in it, though.

Hey, that's a great song. That'll earn you a half-pendant for the temple!

Date: 2010-12-29 03:49 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] greatlightother.livejournal.com
The temple? What temple is that?

Date: 2010-12-29 03:54 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] actuallyagolem.livejournal.com
The Temple! The temple where the treasure is hidden and guarded by the Temple Guards. If the guards catch you without a pendant of life, you get taken out of the temple.

Date: 2010-12-29 04:06 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] greatlightother.livejournal.com
Well, that seems dangerous! And a half pendant isn't going to help.

A half, you see, is less than one!

Date: 2010-12-29 04:11 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] actuallyagolem.livejournal.com
Half is less than one, but you have to earn a whole pendant by playing in the Temple games.

Today's treasure is Abraham Lincoln's long johns. Tell us about them, Olmec!

[Long, long pause]

....Olmec?

From: [identity profile] greatlightother.livejournal.com
[And now...she waits...and waits....and waits....]

Who's Olmec?

Date: 2010-12-29 04:21 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] actuallyagolem.livejournal.com
Olmec....you know....big statue that talks and tells stories....

He hangs out by the Steps of Knowledge.

What a good imagination you have.

He's real! He guards the Temple gates.

It's time for the Temple Games!

[And now your host, Kirk "The Bear Jew" Fogg, is going to run up and down the stairs for a while.]

From: [identity profile] greatlightother.livejournal.com
[Enjoy those stairs, Kirk.]

Have fun!

[HE WILL. TIME TO GIVE AWAY SOME PENDANTS OF LIFE.]

You too! You could win a huffy bike!
