So many people in the Christmas, or holiday, spirit today. I’m not complaining about it but…hopefully it lasts! [No, she really doesn’t think it will. But it helps to be optimistic.] I think the Barge is starting to look nice. Maybe a bit over the top, but when have we known the Admiral to do anything subtle?
I always liked decorating for Christmas and New Year’s. My brother and I would work together on the tree. [She starts humming “Carol of the Bells.] What did you do? Anything traditional like that? Decorating a tree with a sibling? Going out at first frost?

I had a strange thought earlier. You owe Clapet a bag of peas. Since it was him you actually stole from back at that camp. I know you don’t remember but…it was just a thought I had.

I really don’t think this is necessary this year. I already have gifts for them! I got them during that port. But…they’re not getting those until January, so I suppose that I could just ask for silly things here.
So, for Donny, a proper ribbon of St. George. And all the baseball…stuff…that you can fit into a box. Modern, at least my kind of modern. I’m sure he’s going to get a lot of it. And can you sneak a few books in there? A few different genres, just in case he wants something new.
Damon needs something nice for his room. Something that puts a little light into the place. And a good variety of Scotch.
Howie gets tea, as usual. And something by Alexandra Marinina, translated into English, of course!
A couple of red shawls for Una. I think they might suit her and she really just needs something for herself.
I think Angelica might like a lacquer box. Inside, put a little flower.
Oh Martha. Martha needs a whole basket of things just for her. Nail polish, makeup…whatever she needs to just take some time off and enjoy herself.
The Doctor, the one with the scarf, needs apple cider. And a new yoyo. Something fun that lights up and makes noises. Jelly babies, naturally. Oh! And while you’re at it…something for K9. I don’t know what, but something that might make things easier for him.
The other Doctor, the one who was the Joker’s warden needs matryoshka that tell a story. And a new hat!
Give O’Brien a copy of A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich. But make sure it’s illustrated for him. A lot.
To the Miss Parker who swears a lot, give her a bottle of Chopin vodka.
Cissie just needs happy cookies. Something fun and festive. She needs some cheer.
And for Doctor Crane, I want him to have a nice, leatherbound journal. Because he seems like he has a lot to say and no real place to say it.
