The light that's put out as a byproduct of using my power is stained with black now. I think I should just not use them. I won't go around accidentally hurting people just because I got upset.

If your powers become a danger to you, they can be neutralized in Level 0. It isn't ideal, considering whose fault this really is, but... It's an option if you need it.
